Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 October 2026 · Effective date: 7 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how WALLETED (“WALLETED”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit walleted.io, use our Web3 Trust Card product, or otherwise interact with our services (the “Services”).

By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Who we are

WALLETED provides tools that help users create, view, and share Web3 Trust Cards based on publicly available blockchain data and related signals. For privacy inquiries, contact us at [email protected].

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you provide

  • Account details such as email address, display name, and authentication credentials when you create an account or subscribe to a paid plan.
  • Wallet addresses, ENS names, or similar identifiers you enter, connect, or ask us to scan.
  • Optional profile information you choose to add (for example social links or contact preferences).
  • Communications you send us (support requests, sales inquiries, feedback).
  • Billing information processed by our payment providers (we do not store full payment card numbers on our servers).

2.2 Public blockchain and network data

When you scan a wallet or generate a Trust Card, we may retrieve and process information that is already public on supported blockchains and related public data sources, including but not limited to:

  • Wallet addresses and transaction history
  • Token balances, approvals, NFT holdings, and DeFi or trading activity that is publicly observable
  • Wallet age, activity patterns, and other on-chain signals used for reputation or Trust Score features

Public blockchain data is not private by nature. WALLETED does not decrypt private keys and never asks for seed phrases or private keys.

2.3 Automatically collected information

  • Device and browser information (user agent, language, screen size)
  • IP address, approximate location derived from IP, and referral URLs
  • Usage data such as pages viewed, features used, clicks, and session timing
  • Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies (see Section 6)

2.4 AI-generated content

Where available, we may generate AI summaries or profile text from public on-chain signals and information you provide. Inputs and outputs may be logged temporarily to operate, improve, and moderate the feature. Do not submit sensitive personal data you do not want processed for this purpose.

3. How we use information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve Trust Cards, wallet scans, QR sharing, and related features
  • Create reputation scores, activity categories, and AI-assisted profile summaries
  • Authenticate users, manage subscriptions, and process payments
  • Detect abuse, fraud, spam, and security incidents
  • Communicate service updates, transactional notices, and (with consent where required) product marketing
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
  • Analyze product performance and develop new features

4. Legal bases (EEA / UK users)

Where applicable data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on:

  • Contract — to provide the Services you request
  • Legitimate interests — product improvement, security, analytics, and business operations (balanced against your rights)
  • Consent — where required for cookies, marketing, or optional features
  • Legal obligation — when we must retain or disclose information to comply with law

5. How we share information

We may share information with:

  • Service providers — hosting, analytics, email, customer support, payment processing, and infrastructure vendors under contractual confidentiality and security obligations
  • Public display — Trust Cards and related public profiles you choose to create or share may be viewable by others via link, QR code, or embedding
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets
  • Legal and safety — when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of users or WALLETED

We do not sell your personal information as “sale” is commonly understood (cash for raw contact lists). We do not sell private keys (we never collect them).

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Keep you signed in and remember preferences
  • Measure traffic and product usage
  • Improve security and prevent abuse

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may limit functionality of the Services.

7. Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Account data is typically retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward. Public on-chain data may continue to exist on blockchains independently of WALLETED.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure. You are responsible for safeguarding wallet credentials and never sharing seed phrases or private keys with anyone, including WALLETED.

9. International transfers

We may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers (such as standard contractual clauses).

10. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

  • Access, correct, or delete personal information
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
  • Data portability
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your request. Note that we cannot erase public blockchain records.

11. Children’s privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 16 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

12. Third-party links and wallets

The Services may link to third-party sites, wallet apps, explorers, or conference materials (including TOKEN2049-related content). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. WALLETED is not affiliated with TOKEN2049 unless expressly stated in a separate agreement.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-product notice where appropriate.
